DIE-CUT STICKER COMMISSION
The client approached me about creating a stylized depiction of a “MindFlayer” a fantasy creature with a squid-like complexion and craving for brains. The stickers would be sized at 3” x 2.5” and printed on matte material.
When the client told me they wanted a symmetrical design I knew instantly I wanted to use the tentacles to frame the shape of the head. I created a few ideations on a sketchpad before finding one I was happy with. After creating the lineart version and getting the greenlight from the client I added the colours, ensured all the details could be seen at the desired size, and sent the finished file to the printers.
